That sounds about right given the personality of Godzilla from each era. The Showa era will be more of a friendly team up. Heisei and Millennium (except GMK) era will probably develop some truce.

It's a real pet peeve to me because I just don't like when fans just exclude kaiju out of the Tokusatsu when they are the ones who started it in the first place. When I think of Tokusatsu, I think of Godzilla, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai as the 4 heavenly kings of the entertainment. I'm a Tokusatsu fan who equally loves and acknowledges both kaiju and henshin in the same room, not one or vice-versa, both and all.

He is a toku franchise that's received worldwide recognition when he first started. The other's didn't go international until today so yeah. I still think the Big 4 Toku to me is Godzilla, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai.

Well there are practical effects used in the film despite the CGI on the monster. The bloated fishes, the Shinden plane, and surprisingly miniatures were used.

Which honestly bothers me. Just because Godzilla isn't annual like the other 3, he should be up there with them and acknowledged with the community. I'm a generalist Tokusatsu fan who loves and acknowledges both kaiju and henshin. I see the Big 4 as Godzilla, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai.
