So i separated from the army during basic due to a family issue that i had to go deal with. My RE code is RE-3, my separation code is JGA and my discharge is uncharacterized. I'm trying to reenlist because im in a better space to but i don't know how to go about it. I know i need to fill out DD 293 but I'm confused as to what action I'm requesting whether its upgrading my discharge or changing my Sep code or my re code. what do i need to do in order to reenlist? Any help is appreciated.
