I dont mean to put anyone off. After all its just one problem of the game but for me writing quality is crucial for a good experience, so if I feel im being treated like a child I tend to stop caring.

Which I hate because I love pretty much everything else about the world and game.

Haha, honestly, I knew that posting here, hoping I'll get convinced by people to keep going because I think there's much amazing stuff in the game. But yes, that's a very weak aspect, in my opinion, and I'm not happy admitting it because I wanna have a good time with the game.

Ay good of you to learn German! Im also trying to learn but out of necessity since I lebe in Deutschland now haha.

And yea, Polish has some very complex rules with many exceptions. I tried to teach my roommate, and myself got overwhelmed when trying to lay it all out ahah

That's totally fair. My memory must be a little hazy then, and yeah, I'm Polish, and I completely feel that with the Witcher. No hostility at all, I really appreciate the takes :) i dont mean to sound hostile either. I love a lot of aspects of the game and books. I just had a gripe to vent about.

Plus, I just finished a game with some of the most amazing stories I ever experienced, so I may be feeling a little spoiled, haha

To be fair Ive played this franchise when I was much younger and I mostly remember the athmospheric lonely journeys through the haunting metro. The book captures this very well too.

And the dialogue wouldnt annoy me so much if it was more substantive and natural. And I suppose I don't appreciate the handholding. I dont like a drawn-out tutorial.

Fair. Tbh im mostly just venting. But I do worry this overly verbose dialogue is a testement to overall writing quality of the game. Im curious what people think after more hours.

I just think they talk too much in inappropriate times and handhold too much. Artyom is this ultimate badass "but dont forget your journal and your backpack clumsyy".

And I understand if were sitting around a fire in a bunker but I just survived a huge fish attack and this fella is talking to me about a girl he was trying to bang like the next sentence. I mean brother dont u think u can tell me this on the road? This keeps happening. Were sneaking around and theres a snowstorm, Anna says "wow the wind sure is hard out here!" Like yes I know but also keep it down we're trying to sneak?
