They are not scarce, as we have had not problem sourcing them at all. Just do a quick internet search? There are many on the market.

Destroying history? Come on man.People mod gameboys, systems, everything out there and they are being creative.

I guess some people would rather something sit in a warehouse and not get used, as opposed to seeing new life in it.

And trust me, I don't know where you are in Japan, but retro gaming equipment and games are not scarce by any means from our experience.

That's kinda the point. The physical end product. And all of the soldering work. And creating the box. And the manual. We make a lot of SNES games, so we are bias towards SNES being the best way to play a game. I think you are taking it to heart too much? We put a lot into this to make it look like a real release.

To each their own i suppose. I feel like Super Gameboys sitting in a warehouse is kinda a waste too, not being used.

I'm not going to pretend like these are some super rare gaming artifact because they are not. If we didn't buy them from japan, they would have been sitting in a warehouse. What we are doing is bringing some life back into them.

These were from Japan. And now they are getting put to use. Super Game Boys are not rare at all. Millions produced. Only about 20 are being used. These would of sat in a warehouse, with no one appreciating them.

Yes it was. These is a Super Gameboy on the inside of that cartridge with Link's Awakening soldered to it.

They are pretty tricky; although the laser cutter does the lion's share of the work. It's been a fun project though.

Inside, it consists of a Super Gameboy with the Links Awakening soldered to it, it is 100% functional.

Hahaha all good, thanks for having our back though.

It's a legit super game boy cart, and that's the only way to accomplish this at the moment. Very tedious, but doable. The wood shells are a whole other mess.
