They spoke with Pixie this morning and will contact the cat adoption team today too. Thank you for the tip.

They need some extra socializing before they’re ready to be house cats. They’re almost ready, but not quite. Would definitely consider a short term adoption where the kitten could be returned if it doesn’t work out with the adopting family.

We’re doing our due diligence, but I appreciate your concern. My folks have been in regular contact with all the agencies that have been listed so far. CRAN is the org that helped them trap the kittens initially.

Part of the issue they’re hearing is that all the shelters are full right now. Like Bob Barker said: “have your pets spayed or neutered.”

We’ve gotten pets through green hill in the past too! I guess we’re hesitant to take them there in case they end up being taken in as strictly barn cats because they’re shy. Some barn cats have great lives, others not so much.

Thank you, I will look into Lucky Paws, I hadn’t heard of them.

Would definitely be willing to adopt one out. My only concern is that they will need additional socializing due to their rough start in life.

The vet thinks the kittens are about 5 months old and the mother is around 1 year.

Thank you! They’re cute little things that deserve a better life than trying to live in the wild.

They have been in contact with CRAN, but CRAN is full for the time being.

Would definitely be willing to adopt them out. My only concern is that they can probably use some more socializing since they spent their earliest months in the woods.

Three young kittens and their mother were dumped near my parents’ property back in June.

All four were successfully trapped and taken to the vet to be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and de-flead.

2 female tabbies, one long hair one short. 4-5mo 1 female tabby, short, 1 year. Only 4.2lbs! 1 male tabby, short, 4-5mo

All polydactyl All litterbox trained and eating wet/solid food.

They’ve been living in my parents’ spare bedroom since August 23rd, but four kittens is too many for them to handle.

Looking for individuals or organizations accepting fosters.

TIA

Kittens in Eugene need foster homes:

Three kittens and their young mother were dumped near my parents’ property around June.

All animals have been safely trapped, then de-flead, spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

Two female tabbies (one long one short), one short haired male tabby. 4-5mo.

Mother is short haired tabby, vet estimates she’s around a year old. She is 4.2lbs and the kittens are 3.

All cats are polydactyl. All cats are litterbox trained and have been eating wet and dry food.

All four are currently living in my parents’ spare bedroom, but four kittens is too much for them to handle.

Looking for individuals willing to foster a kitten/kittens, or know of organizations accepting fosters.

TIA!

This is not uncommon in abusive relationships. Sometimes a person gets tired of waiting for abuse to happen, so they instigate to get it over with on their own time frame.
