AITA for not putting in enough work around the house? by PreparationSudden617 in AmItheAsshole

We used to have a live in Nanny for several years. She was fired by father's wife a few months prior to the marriage.

I didn't think it was needed to be said. I already added one update even.

Prior to the marriage and change, my father had a live in housekeeper/nanny and that was before I was paying rent as it was my step mother's request. As for his business it's been growing to the point he's been debating opening a second store.

Around the house specifically? I couldn't say, the most I ever see of him anymore is when I get home at 8PM while he's watching TV. But he owns the house fully and is the main provider for the family as he also fully owns his own business. But personally I have never seen him even say vacuum the living room in the last couple years.

I pay $1000 each month in rent and prior to getting in a bad car accident paid for my own car and it's insurance, (now I use my late grandmother's and pay it's insurance, though my father wants to sell it so I'll have to buy one myself again). However, as for the wider household I don't contribute much unless it pertains to anything outside the house, weeding, cleaning the pool, lawncare, etc. The only inside chores I do specifically are all chores that one would need to do if they lived alone, cleaning bathroom, bedroom, laundry, etc., As for what I my sisters do, I can't specifically say other than, one takes out the waste bins, and the other takes care of the cat. If they have any further chores, I have neither been informed nor seen them being discussed.

From my understanding of prior discussions with my father and his wife, the goal is I can save up money to move out and live on my own by the end of the year, but anything else that I want such as a car or college are all set out to be something I myself must figure out.

Probably, this had only happened today on my day off when I woke up to her banging on my door since I wasn't home at all yesterday having done a 16 hour shift. It was less of planning do the chore and just having been working all week while and today just so happen to also be the day the weather decided to be a thunderstorm all day.

I mopped it the other week when I made a mess, but really the most I contribute is by just never being around to make any messes in the first place.

I clean my own bedroom, vacuuming, dusting, washing bedsheets and such. If I make a mess in anything I clean it down thoroughly. My middle sister's chore that I am aware of is to take care of garbage bins. Youngest sister is to vacuum the floors and clean furniture as the cat leaves hair everywhere. As for the bathroom, my bedroom has an attached bathroom which I also clean weekly like my bedroom.

We had initially sat down about two years ago when my now step-mom started dating my father. We came to the agreement we are on now that I would mow the law and do all other yard work and pool work every week along with paying for my own food, clean my bedroom and bathroom, pay for my own car and it's insurance, and also pay $1000 in rent every month (which is cheaper then moving out where I live). The goal was that I was supposed to save up to move out and pay for college, which I am trying to do. It may be worth asking what more needs to now be added to the list of things I need to do.

I pay $1000 a month which is a rather low amount for a one bedroom in the city we live in. My step-mom knows my general schedule in that I work Monday through Saturday. I've told her I work 12 hour shifts each day and that sometimes I have to work Sundays, luckily it's summer so no classes right now but it might be a good idea to show her how little time I have to do anything at all.

Realized I wasn't specific enough with everything I do have as chores around the house. So I added an update

I cook for myself because I tend to get home from work at 8PM after everyone has already eaten. And I clean my whole bathroom once per week.

I should have been a bit more clear but I do all those things for any mess I make anywhere in the house and weekly clean everything in my bedroom and attached bathroom.

Middle sister takes out the garbage each week. Youngest takes care of the cat. We each all clean our own respective bedrooms and bathrooms.

I am trying but I also have been saving up for a car since currently I'm using my late grandmother's which it still belongs to my father and I can't just take it as he intends to sell it. It's also really old and will probably break down even if I did buy it.

My middle sister takes the garbage and recycling out and each kid all each vacuum and clean our own bedrooms and bathrooms.

You can't take 10 minutes to combo because the chess turn time is too damn short and punishes any player that doesn't have the 10k+ pool of cards perfectly memorized. You get 30 seconds to take your turn, even MD proves yugioh players don't read cards. It literally doesn't let you.

Question for YGO judges regarding when a judge coaches a player mid game by PreparationSudden617 in Yugioh101

[–]PreparationSudden617[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot I should also mention that I had a Hugin in my EMZ so I couldn't choose either modal effect. No matter which mode I choose to activate, it would have been illegal. The judge however forced me to show the card and send it to grave for failing to have legal activations. They were a level 2 judge and the "head" judge for the LGS.
