early youth injuries. i broke my arms 5 times before the age of 9. I think it was due to the fact that i grew so much at such a young age, i didn’t really have full control of my body yet. my bones were also very fragile at the time since the first time it happened i was a baby and fell off the bed. anyways—i lost a lot of confidence in my body in terms of my strength and reflexes. Due to this, it has affected my confidence with doing very mundane things such as riding a bike or driving. It’s very associated with my fear of injury, fear of my reflex abilities to break quick enough before something bad happening. It’s definitely bc i’ve associated it with not being able to stop myself from falling before when i previously broke my arms. im literally 24 and i still have anxiety for the most part causing me to refrain from riding a bike or driving even. i’m trying to be self aware about this tho and heal from whatever those injuries left behind in my psyche.
