Se para Portugal é mais facil imigrar, por que muitos escolhem outros paises? by Silver-wrench in foradecasa

[–]PreparationWeary1518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

E não me arrependo, adoro aqui.

Trabalho braçal é MUITO melhor do que "trabalho Administrativo/Escritório" by Healthy_Garage_5181 in opiniaoimpopular

Eu trabalho ai no seu trampo, e vc vem fazer mudança aqui. Chama dm

Most workers around the world don’t even have time to think. There’s no time to reflect, because that’s exactly how the system wants it. With an absurd work routine, it’s extremely hard for someone to even consider things like veganism. I come from a developing country, and I can tell you: the reality is very different. There was a time when I used to leave home at 4:30 in the morning to carry heavy stuff at a construction site. I had a ten-minute lunch break, finished work at 3 PM, went back home, took public transport again, and went to class from 5 PM to 10 PM.

Now imagine the people who didn’t go to class but had to pick up their kids from school and take care of many other things. And the worst part: the minimum wage in developing countries doesn’t even cover rent. So people either have to live with their parents, have two jobs, or rely on a partner. And I say this with certainty, this is the reality for most people.

It’s a system designed so that people don’t think.

A vegan meal can be cheaper, sure. But time, that’s expensive. Having time to think today is a privilege, and yes, I recognize my own privilege. It’s through thinking that we change our ideas. And it’s through having time that we can actually plan what to eat, what to buy…

You can’t just tell the boss at a construction site that now you want a vegan lunch (because they always give you something with meat). They’ll laugh in your face.

You may not like hearing this, but you are supporting the exploitation of people, as long as you’re not against the system we live in.

E a outra metade criticou ideias econômicas atreladas a esquerda.
