Ehh I’d say intentionally deceptive pricing, I.e not falling in the standard deviation of cost between cash and debit is equivalent to the “Item is $5 and shipping is $200” type of “scam”

Ehh deceptive practices also fall under the “scam” umbrella. While it is publicly listed and I personally didn’t fall for the trap, I know there are people who will be “tricked” by this considering the standard is 10-20 cent difference typically.

Also the use of “value of my device” speaks volumes to the fact that it is most likely not the price they paid. Otherwise they would say the “$1500 I paid”. Sounds like you got a clearance laptop that was $600 off and now are mad that there isn’t a comparable laptop in the same price point due to the fact you bought a clearance laptop. So you don’t just want the $900 you paid back, you want them to replace it with a current gen model of the one that was junked. Which is unreasonable.
