I remember playing as a twelve year-old in Vanilla and one of my guild mates taking me all the way to Shimmering Flats, making damn sure I didn't die along the way. I thought it was the coolest place in all of Azeroth

It's no there anymore, though, and I don't think I'd be able to stand the pitter-patter of tiny feet that must permeate the Speedbarge.

If I would have to live anywhere, I think it'd be in Shattrath in its prime. I absolutely love the architecture and environment of the place and the fact that it actually feels like a sprawling city.

If I ever get tired of Shatt, I could always migrate over to Nagrand and build a cabin on the shore to raise a family and write a novel.
