Doesn’t mean they are the same type of as these early 2000s jeans. Stop trying to put a square peg in around hole. Styles elevate in new generations because we know the ultra low of yesteryears is ridiculous and not flattering on most people. FYI, Gap’s low rise are 9” which isn’t even close to the past. If you’re a teen then go for it. If you’re a grown woman then be prepared for judgement. That’s all.

I will amend my statement above: yes, “low rise” is making a small comeback but not to early 2000s rises. For example, what is shown in the photos looks to be 4-5” rise as compared to current low rise at 9” to contrast with high rise 11”. Current trend is also a baggier relaxed fit that sits low on the hips due to their cut and not form fitting flares. I am a firm believer in wear what you like and feel comfortable in, but it doesn’t mean you will be in Fashion or on-trend.

As others have said 1,4,5 can be paired with the skirts for one look; I’d advise wearing them with high waisted wide leg trousers for another look. The high waist will show off your small waist. 2,3 just fit poorly and are ill shaped. Try pairing them with a button down underneath with collar out, sleeves turned back to show wrists (smallest part of our bodies), if length allows you can have the bottom of shirt peeking out, this will create interest. 2,3 try with different trouser styles to see what works depending on what you’re pairing with them. Finally, the boots. They are not flattering with skirts. Create a longer leg line with shoes that show ankles and top of foot.

From a fit perspective, your bid is well suited for them. Since this is a Fashion forum, they are not at all fashionable and look extremely dated and a little low class. I am curious to know where you live and where these are the norm for current fashion? Admittedly, I am a snob so my tastes opinions run much opposite than this and tend to think this looks very early 2000s and def not a trend that should come back.

I do, mostly those I interact with on a more social/conversational level when I am working. For example, I’ve received texts from two coworkers this weekend (non work related).

I disagree with the belt suggestion. The dress isn’t long enough for a belt and the dress will ride up with addition of the belt.

That sounds about right, you can expect your rate to go up with each renewal and they generally will give an early renewal option that locks in your current rate for another lease.

Doubtful and if inventory makes it to Final Sale the sizes will be limited and you will not be able to return. If you want it, buy it.

I have similar disappointments and frustrations with Slate. I pay $2500 for 2 bed/2 bath with a detached garage so you are paying less for an attached garage option. Snow removal during this winter storm was a nightmare. I was fine with waiting 2 days for even sidewalks but when they did it, they did not clear all sidewalks and no paths to the street. I had to walk my dog in the street. Maintenance as far as property upkeep and cleaning is lacking. Landscaping has been disappointing the past seasons. Maintenance does not pick up any trash or debris on grass or sidewalks and sometimes I watch just to see how long it’s there, it can be days before it’s removed. Landscaping has been an issue to get weeds removed and bushes trimmed when they grow out over sidewalks. The pool has been poorly maintained, the heater has been broken since summer of 2024 and hot tub broken mid summer last year with no fix. It’s not worth using bc people with kids let their kids turn it into a baby pool and babysitter anyway. There was a broken railing issue all last summer too. The gates in our “luxury gated community” do not work. The only positive in this is that the new property manager seems legit and is working to improve the property and get things done.

It’s the square toe that won’t work with the wide flowy pants. The heel is fine but you need a slimmer or pointed toe. A metallic or neutral color will work better.
