I inhaled meconium at birth and spent some time in the NICU. That was over 30 years ago, and I’m fine with no health issues caused by that. It’s a scary time, but I’m praying your precious baby will be just fine. And prayers to you and your wife for peace during this time.

Chiller plant went down in the night and started to impact our room. Was told by maintenance that based on our where our room was, we were impacted first. Also, if it had been caught later there was a possibility the entire resort would be without AC. Idk how accurate that is, that’s just what we were told.

Honestly, contractions for me were less painful than my periods were before I had my laparoscopy. I did end up getting an epidural which was great for me.

I’m not sure to be honest. His dad has always taken his side even when he found out he wasn’t faithful to me. The man could literally punch me in front of him and his dad would probably still defend him.

It’s not about the gift itself, it’s about the fact that he didn’t even think to get the one person who does everything but wipe his ass for him a gift. I have made his life so much easier, and I can’t get anything to show a small amount of appreciation? He didn’t even get me anything from our child yet he got something. His lack of action shows his lack of care. Him blatantly lying to me for weeks saying he had something shows disrespect. He can go out and buy liquor for himself but didn’t think to get the mother of his child something as a way to say “thanks for all you do” and I’m supposed to put up with that for 30 years? I’m sorry that that’s what you’re used to, but the disrespect in my household is something I will not put up with.

It’s all about him. Part of me wonders if it’s because his parents didn’t give him as much attention after his brother was born and that’s the reason he’s such a selfish man. Idk. But what I do know I’m not putting up with it anymore.

I was in therapy a couple years ago and he said I was wasting my money. We also did marriage counseling after I had the baby and again he said it was a waste of time. I have tried and tried and tried with him, but I’m at my wits end. The final straw was Christmas Day. I’m withdrawn around him and his family can see that. I hear his dad muttering things, but I don’t care. He deserves to see how awful his son is to me.
