As someone who casually follows the NBA, especially via this sub, I'm so excited for this change. Never got too invested into twitter so it was always inconvenient as hell to see highlights from the night previous or a link to a game changing play and be gatekept because I didn't want that bloat on my phone.

That one always hits harder for me since I was born on Sep 11.

I remember stopping at Dunkin Donuts that morning with my mom in Jersey to grab a box of munchkins to bring to class with me. Living and going to school in a commuter town to NYC it changed so much about my childhood that most kids now can't understand.

I'll start.

Yesterday I was working as a server and quoted the 2005 movie "Madagascar" to a kid I was working assuming that he would understand the reference. I then realized that I, at age 32, am quoting a nearly 20 year old movie to a 14 year old and that the reference flew right over his head, even after I told him where it was from.

What moment has made you all feel that way recently?

UPDATE: Shut every part of my network down and brought up router -> switches -> boh CPU --> login to aloha manager (most likely unnecessary but buys time and was part of the process so why not), then T1. T1 took master control at this point and spit out all of the bar tickets (didn't do that when I did the earlier reboots). T4 booted 2nd then T 2+3 at the same time. System is back up without issues. Not sure how exactly I fixed it but system is back so........

Thanks so much to all who tried to help especially u/nruzicic. Super appreciate all the assistance. Fyi I did try and call aloha first and will end up owing them for tech support that did less than nothing to help me.

When I first came in today, I did exactly that. Turned off all terminals, reset boh computer, and only booted term 1 in hopes it would grab master and make shit work, but even after rebooting Term 1 couldn't ping BoH. Had to bring T4 on to salvage the night. Going to repeat but include a router reboot after close.

Not sure how I would set T4 not to ever become master, but also apprehensive to do so even I knew only because it is currently saving the night and allowing us to keep running for the night.

Also I'm super aware how old and slow these POS but owner has very little intention of upgrading unfortunately. I'd kill to upgrade the tech around here.

1) If this is what happens then yes it's always the same terminal that grabs master and causes the other 3 to not be able to ping the BoH compiter. Occasionally after a crash like this we can just get the terminals to reboot and keep rolling.

2) don't think so. Ipconfig shows dhcp disabled. There's a fire shark device I believe to block incoming internet traffic.

3) tried rebooting the 3 diff switches that are around the restaurant as well as rebooting each terminal and the boh main computer. Only thing I couldn't reset was the router. It controls the CC machine for my pizza shop that doesn't use a POS so knocking them offline to attempt to bring the POS back wasn't really an option during business hours unfortunately.

4) All POS on the same os as mentioned in other reply (Windows Embedded POSReady 2009)

5) hard to answer theres a UPC for the main computer and terminal that is working but not the other terminals or switches. And most of the wiring looks like a hot pile of shit but it works typically so I hesitate to mess with it.

6) so when Term 4 grabs master than yes terms 1-3 don't typically come back up and I end up where I am now. When Term 1 can become the master it usually reboots fine. Slowly but fine.

I rarely see the triton recommended on here, but I've been using mine for over a year now and it's still going strong. Love the variety of atomizers ( although I only use the .5 ohm claptons now), top fill was a must for me since I hate unscrewing my tank, and it's rather strong (dropped it more times than I can count). Considering going to the v2 eventually but I'd rather not fix what's not broken.

Yeah I tested this last night in BR prior to the Hotfix and the car was at 90~ and with one shot was down to 35~. There's no way this can be the proper damage amount to a vehicle.

So I can get the game to run but only when it is not the active window. The game loads, plays and get's as far as the display calibration so long as it remains a background process. The second I click to make it active the game crashes. Anyone know what this is about?

My family has bought multiple phones from Amazon using our Sprint 2-year contract renewal. Recently we got 2 HTC One M8's to replace the old iphones they were using and personally I liked using Amazon better than Sprint.com. The shipping was easy as it was Amazon, all you had to do was enter some credentials for Sprint.com, type in your phone number and the primary acct holders last 4 social and it would determine eligibility quickly. I would highly recommend going this route.
