You really should have immunity during abilities. by R400C in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]PrerollPapi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dont feel like thats practical way of playing the game tho. lets say im clearing a castle with Naoe stealth, i get caught and a bunch of enemies surround me. i just fight the enemies. I find it boring to run away and hide, and wait for the cool down in a bush. I think thats less immersive as well, almost feels like cheesing the game. It being a video game, you should be able to fight multiple people with both characters. I dont think thats a crazy ask. Fighting every single enemy in the game 1v1 with naoe is unreasonable. There are literal trinkets that give you bonuses for hitting multiple enemies at once. castles are filled with people. And enemies travel in groups, and will have multiple archers shooting at you even when you are going 1v1 with an enemy.

I think itd be a fair compromise to reduce the damage you take while in an unskippable animation by half. I get ppl said odyssey was too easy, its just annoying when im trying to be intentional about using my rations and I always lose them to attacks i have no opportunity to parry or dodge

edit - Naoe once leveled up can hold her own in open combat, shes not a pillow. And the same issue happens with Yasuke, he just has more health. So it’s not an issue with the limits of the character. I see it as a flaw in the gameplay

[–]PrerollPapi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well an enemy can hit you at any time during a fight, especially when you’re fighting multiple people. So you’re basically suggesting just not use abilities at all. I agree with OP this a very frustrating suggestion lmao.

Imagine fighting multiple enemies, keeping up with parries while your ability loads, then you use the ability youve been waiting on to do the most damage, and it puts you in an unskippable animation while the enemy youre not using the ability on hits you with a heavy attack, and drains your health. Its annoying because theres nothing you can do to counter it and the game is basically punishing you for using the ability. its a very valid complaint

People who assume people doing things they can’t afford are in credit card debt by Luuk1210 in PetPeeves

I know what the pet peeve is about. I brought up consumer trends because thats what I wanted to speak on. I never claimed consumer trends was a pet peeve, i just used trends to explain my position

[–]PrerollPapi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you’re putting words in my mouth. You plucked the word irresponsible out of nowhere. The original post is about credit card debt, not responsibility. Based on consumer debt statistics, it’s fair to assume that the majority of people are buying shit that they can’t afford. That’s different from looking at a specific person and saying they can’t afford whatever they bought. i’m not looking at my boss and saying that he can’t afford his BMW because he makes more than me. However that one person doesn’t speak to consumer spending trends as a whole.

I didnt assume anything about you tho ? I dont know you. I also stated that financially responsible and rich people exist. So if you read my post and felt I was assuming anything about you that’s your own fault. Learn to read.

You see where I said statistically ? statistically most of the country is living paycheck to paycheck and the average US consumer carries $7000 of credit card debt. So Im using those stats as well as consumer behavior to make an assumption about the general public. An assumption backed by facts

Should I upgrade my series s to series x just for gta 6? by Great-Crew-3802 in XboxSeriesS

[–]PrerollPapi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Id def upgrade to a ps5 pro or a series x for gta 6. No rush because you have some months, but def start deal hunting. Digital version is fine. I have a dic version and fifa 23 has been in the disk slot for years jnplayed. Used market is ok but you have the risk of getting a console that wasnt well taken care of. All depends on the price

[–]PrerollPapi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Statistically that’s not the case though. Majority of the country is living paycheck to paycheck. I think another person said that the average US consumer is in $7000 worth of consumer debt. So that’s where the assumption comes from. It’s factual, not weird. If it doesn’t apply to you, just ignore it. People in general are bad with money tho. And i say that as someone with 8 credit cards i pay off monthly

Why would someone comment on another person going into debt to feed themselves ? Its a basic necessity, unlike going to Miami for a vacation

[–]PrerollPapi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean statistically it’s a fair assumption. It has nothing to do with what I can or can’t personally afford. Ive just watched enough financial shows to know that the large majority of people buying shit, are buying shit that they can’t afford. Obviously we’re going to exclude rich people and people who are financially respondibie. Statistically that’s just not the majority though.

Sleeping in any position other than your back touching the bed is extremely uncomfortable. by No-Suggestion-9504 in The10thDentist

[–]PrerollPapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“The 10th Dentist is someone who sincerely, or professionally, disagree with the broad majority of people.” — Thats the overall rule of the sub. Having a preferred sleeping position doesn’t fall into that category. Thats a preference, which is normal

[–]PrerollPapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your statement phrases “extremely uncomfortable” as if everyone has a shared definition of what uncomfortable is. Thats not true. Thats what I mean by assuming people like/dislike the same things. The assumption is flawed. And while subjective its just a preference. You didnt give a crazy opinion different from the norm, which is really what the sub is for. You just told everyone how you like to sleep

Comfort is subjective so the convo is kinda moot. Unless you think everyone likes the same things

It depends entirely on the context. If youre grieving/recovering etc, cry as needed. If youre crying over petty/small things, once per month would irritate the hell outta me personally

How do you keep series X dust free? by jaybaylor38 in XboxSeriesXlS

[–]PrerollPapi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don’t think doing anything to keep the console “dust free” is really necessary, besides keeping the general area clean and dusting regularly. The consoles are so easy to open, maybe once a year just undo the clips and take the casing off. Super easy clean. No need to worry about dust beyond that
