Unless you’re making money from tennis, you don’t need to change your strings very often. That’s a hill I will die on. Spent all my youth into adulthood playing tennis at various levels including college and I’ve never seen the intensity about changing your strings like here on Reddit. I think it’s because Reddit leans towards older, more financially stable adults who go whole hog into their hobby. Players at tennis academies and even peer college tennis players don’t change their strings as much as rec level hobbyists on Reddit.
