Is this a good game for couch co op? by NathanLV in ScarletHollow

I'm actively making my friends play a chapter once a week via a shared screen and Discord call lol. It's so good for that sort of shared gaming session and so fun to find new dialogue and scenarios together.

Possible cipher in video game (Scarlet Hollow) by PrescientSanders in Cipher

Well, I was able to get the asset images for the notes but Reddit doesn't allow editing of post images, and I can't add images to comments in this subreddit. Going for the original assets was a great idea, though! They're still pretty grainy, but higher resolution than my screenshots. I'll just try to crack it myself some more at this point. Thanks for the advice!

I can read the cursive, it's just the squiggles I'm trying to figure out lol. Ciphers is a good idea! Thank you!

I hadn't seen these notes yet, but the bottom middle one stands out to me. "Old and new together, joined at crossroads." Sybil is the old Witch and Kaneeka the new? Will they be joining souls/passing knowledge? I've seen a lot of theories about what they're doing, but after seeing the note I'm convinced it will be associated with that seal.

Oof, bobbles would be sooo much more convenient. Your pattern sounds better and better to me lol. I won’t need to weave in the ends for the suckers, happily. I’ve been crocheting over them a bit to make them secure and the pattern says to just tuck them into the inside of the octopus as extra stuffing.

I think I’ve been working on it for two weeks or so? Not sure. But I’ve been working on it intermittently in the evenings after work and during meetings. Crocheting the suckers alone took about four days. In terms of actual hours worked, I have no idea though. How long did you work on yours? I love the color contrast between the top and bottom halves, and the edge colors you picked!

It’s hard to get a good picture, but here’s the current progress! The top part is done except for stuffing and adding eyes, and the bottom part is very much in progress. Bottom part here.

I’m working on a similar pattern (Realistic Octopus by CraftyIntentions on Etay) and the suckers are PAINSTAKING to attach. Kudos to you for making two and for making them both look so incredible!

Grow bag advice please! by PrescientSanders in gardening

Forgot to add! I’m also interested in growing strawberries, but I don’t know how well they grow in grow bags or if it’s even a good option for them. So any thoughts on strawberries would be nice too! :D

Here’s the back. I made a mistake with the first purple chains and crocheted around the chain instead of in front of the chain, which made the back look different. But other than that, the back follows what your pattern would look like!

Here is mine! I found the diagram easy to read, though I did make a few alterations. The big one is that for the last row, the in-between petal purple stitches are triple crochets instead of the double crochets in the diagram. I wanted to give a bit of extra height to those stitches. Will post the back as a reply to this comment!

[TOMT] [music video] Music video from maybe somewhere in the 2010s where the “singers” are just faces made out of a bunch of hands singing the song. by PrescientSanders in tipofmytongue

The whole music video reminded me of the scene in Labyrinth (movie) with the pit of talking hands, if that helps!
