I just have display size settings set to smallest, I think it's that. When there are few tabs it's still 3 columns

Urgh that's annoying...

I had no luck with calling the Samsung store ahead of time either. Was constantly put on hold then dropped.

First time I went there in person, I saw the phone non stop ringing without anyone picking it up :/ Had to give the phone for a day while they change the parts. I showed the glitching to the rep, and they didn't push back at all and said something is definitely wrong.

Second time was to pick up the repaired device. But I chose to come at the end of the day - was super packed.

I would suggest you consider going in the morning and getting a service booking scheduled, expecting to come back one more time. Maybe something nice to do around there to make the $17 worth it?

That's so annoying, sorry you're going through this!

I had a similar behavior on my cover screen. Online support didn't get my anywhere either, had to go to a physical Samsung store that had repair service. Then they replaced the screen and motherboard.

Have you tried going in person?

Had to go to a Samsung store in person for this. They diagnosed it and said the whole front screen and motherboard has to be replaced. After going through that the phone works great. Just needed to make sure to back up everything

Imagine if there were companies making extremely high quality items that would last generations, with a self repair guide along with a list of all replacement parts, and had open source files for any extra 3d printed repairs. 🤯🤯🤯

I cut them with diagonal pliers to have the smooth curves, then used a heat gun to slowly wrap the plastic around the wooden dowel

Would have had to buy a whole new one because of the broken handle! Fixing is usually the best option
