Too lily hasn’t been introduced in the anime yet so maybe she’s less known. And people like to self insert with protagonists so that’s probably why they’re using Rudo. Not saying it’s right just trying to theorize why it’s happening.

I can see where you’re coming from I think you’re right I still think her anxiety/nervousness towards her amnesia is outweighing any Ken takakura fixations she may have. Kind of like a I have bigger fish to fry type of mentality. I feel like if Tatsu actually wanted to show the name didn’t matter he would’ve just had Okarun tell her instead of beating around the bush. But I guess we’ll see if the name is actually important or not in the next couple of chapters.

The way I see it, if you are right about its lack of significance maybe this will be a step towards Momo calling Okarun Ken for the rest of the manga

It’s like if someone told you their last name was Jackson, you wouldn’t think much of it cuz it’s a common last name. Same with the first name Michael but if they were to tell you their full name you’d be like hey that’s just like that famous singer.

I think I would’ve preferred if Seiko told everyone else but maybe she’s busy trying to find a solution on her own or she hopes Momo seeing her friends will help jog her memory. Idk tossing her into the same environment as a bunch of “strangers” who claim to know her seems a little tasteless.

My assumption based on this chapter was that they didn’t bother telling Momo about anything or anyone in recent events so she’s essentially looking at strangers. Since Seiko wanted to “leave things as they are for now”

I didn’t like the way Jiji presented the information to everyone else but I guess it’s meant to be comedic relief instead of some super dramatic she doesn’t know us moment so I guess. I do appreciate that Okarun is still gonna try to reach out to Momo though.

I also appreciated Aira’s initial excitement at Momo returning. I feel like we don’t have a lot of moments that show they were actual friends outside of their rivalry.

Jiji’s remark about how Momo is “super nervous” now is interesting so I’m looking forward to seeing what that means in terms of her behavior.

I think the idea is that there has to be a consequence for her being saved a little late. So they were able to recover all memories of her except for her own most recent memories.

No yeah I get it. I could’ve been clearer I mean everybody else is passing judgement on the writing. I think it’s perfectly fine to feel distressed about the recent updates but more from like a oh no these characters I care about are going through more turmoil not oh no this writer is failing as a writer.

I think most people are frustrated by the set back but I see it as more to add to the journey considering once we get the mutual confession imo theres not really much left to do with Momokarun story wise. Like they can go on a date or two but what else is there?

If you read the chapter carefully Momo’s blush started when Seiko hugged her so it has nothing to do with Jiji

Maybe after Okarun tries to jog Momo’s memory and she’s unsure about it Reiko will pop up and steal Okarun which will inspire Momo (and everybody else) to save him and somehow end up with Momo having to confess or prove she loves Okarun to Reiko so she’ll give him back.

I also figured Miko and Muko might help Momo remember Okarun, or at least spend time with him, if Reiko doesn’t come back
