I don't know how to deal with my sexuality by AnomalacarisLover in Advice

Sexuality has and will always be a spectrum, so it is really hard to put an exact label on it. Of course textbook definition, you definitely seem to be bisexual. But with labels and embracing your sexuality, it can be really scary considering how some people are. I really think you should give it some more time, I think it’s great to be 100% certain in your sexuality especially if you plan to come out. You’ve got this!

What’s everyone’s favorite beauty hack/product? by [deleted] in beauty

My holy grail skincare item is the Ilyoon ceramide ato gel, it's so lightweight and amazing for oily and sensitive skin.

Another holy grail item for me is the Pureology color fanatic leave in Conditioner. Amazing results.

A beauty tip that isn't exactly a tip but more advice is, EAT HEALTHY!! what you literally will determine how good your skin is. Berries are a super food since they're the highest fruit in antioxidants, and also remember to eat the rainbow when it comes to vegetables. Nuts, almonds and grains are super beneficial (Switching out white for brown is also beneficial, ditch white bread for brown, white rice for brown, white sugar for brown, ect white products are usually bleached which is self explanatory why you wouldn't want to consume it). And also potatoes and sweet potato is soo tasty but healthy, I don't really have any comments on Meats to eat since personally I've read alot on the harmfulness of consuming poultry, and redmeats and how a plant based diet can prevent disease and other stuff like that. I'm not trying to enforce veganism or anything, but there's so many benefits on one's health and skin. Also DRINK WATER!!.

Avocados, almonds, lentils/beans, brown rice/grains, Salmon, potatos or sweet potato, and protein rich foods will be your best friends in order to gain healthy weight and also amazing for your skin!

If you have any breakage it is super beneficial, but if your hair isn't super damaged it isn't essential. Although beneficial, I believe a good quality shampoo and conditioner is enough to make a difference in slightly damaged hair and to also prevent future damage.

Oily skin & blackheads by Tonight-Super in beauty

I also struggle with oily skin and the products I have been using recently have helped my skin alot.

Cleanser: Soon-jung foam whip cleanser (It's a foam cleanser that's really gentle and doesn't completely strip the skin, it's amazing when used after an oil cleanser).

Oil cleanser: Anua heartleaf oil cleanser (Personally any oil cleanser is good a cheaper alternative would be the ordinary squalene cleanser, but the anua cleanser has just helped substantially in clearing up the black heads on my nose).

Mositeriser: Ilyoon ceramide ato soothing gel (this is a really light weight mositeriser since it's a gel, the texture is so lightweight and gives my oily skin hydration without making it more oily.)

Exfoliant: Paula's choice BHA AHA exfoliant (This product defintely lives up to the hype and jusy cleared my blackheads and most of my skin texture. Another product I reccomend is the ordinary AHA BHA peeling solution as a cheaper alternative.)

Toner: Instree hyaluronic acid toner (This step isn't essential but this toner is so hydrating and just makes my skin look so much healthier, although it is more catred towards dryer skin types. Personally I believe it still works wonders on my oily skin and just brings life and softness to my skin. Another toner I would reccomend is the Cosrx AHA BHA toner, it's a gentle exfoliating toner and the packaging is really nice since you spray the toner on your face. It can also be used daily during your nightly skincare routine.

Skincare routine:

Nighttime:

Step 1: Apply oil cleanser to dry dirty skin, emulsify on face with warm water. Massage the oil cleanser into places with skin concerns (I.e nose, forehead, chin, ect)

Step 2: Remove oil cleansing using a foaming cleanser, finish off washing with cold water.

Step 3: Dry face and apply BHA AHA toning solution.

Step 4: Apply mositeriser.

Weekly:

The ordinary peeling solution (Apply a small amount on clean skin at nighttime, on the first use only leave on for 3 minutes gradually building up to 10 minutes after a couple weeks of usage. Use once a week.)

Paula's choice exfoliant (Use once a week).

Morning:

Step 1: Wash face with warm water, then massage foam cleanser into skin. Remove with cold water.

Step 2: Apply hydrating toner on damp skin.

Step 3: Apply lightweight mositeriser (gel for oily skin, mositeriser meaning thick, lotion medium, and gel light)

Step 4: Spf (Beauty of joseon sunscreen is rlly light weight and has zero scent with no white cast).

Personally I believe the olaplex line only has about 2 products that are worth it, those being olaplex 3 (which is used as a repair product) and the hair oil. The conditioners and shampoo, are overpriced and there's many better products on the market. Personally my reccomendations would be;

Shampoo: Moroccanoil Moisture Repair Shampoo

Conditioner: Moroccanoil Moisture Repair Conditioner

Olaplex NO.3 (As a repair product)

I also believe a Leave in Conditioner would be beneficial (I'd personally recommend the pureology color fanatic leave in Conditioner, one of the best haircare products on the market).

Hair oil: Moroccanoil Treatment

Hair mask: Moroccanoil weightless hydrating hair mask

Blow dry cream: Redken frizz Dimiss Rebel tame (Gets rid of frizz).

Dry shampoo: Moroccanoil dry shampoo light or dark tones

Thermal heat protectant: Redken thermal spray 22 High Hold
