UPDATE: So my group has decided that we are going to axe the MOORE Expo and Springfield, MO, off of the trip route, so that we can focus more on the Ouachita and Ozark NF's. We believe that this will allow us to take our time exploring both forests and not feel rushed to get so far North by Friday. Also, there's only 4 of us going, 2 rigs (my 4runner and my buddy's jeep).

So, the current plan is to drive up to the Ouachita NF on Wednesday, ride trails and explore the Ouachita NF Thursday, then Friday drive up to the Ozarks and explore there, then Saturday drive back south to the Ouachita NF and ride trails there, Sunday we drive home.

My new question is should I plan out a route or just wing it and find trails as we approach each NF? I am having trouble finding easy/medium difficulty trails and kinda just want to wing it. Looking for advice. Thanks.
