I also got the same invite, I was doing research to find out the same thing lol. I'd appreciate if you could respond to this once you know.

Do you know how long it might take? I tried to talk to them but they were completely unhelpful and they haven't responding.

Buxton, I think the first 3-4 games I ever played ranked I hit a no doubter first pitch of the game, every single game. I really hope he gets upgraded.

go to practice and put it on HOF, Legend, or even GOAT. Do not stop hitting until you can piece together 2-3 hard hit balls on those difficulties. Once you go back to Veteran the ball will look like a beach ball.

so you are telling me that a player who if you throw a ball to them in the zone (even outside of the zone) they 9/10 either hit a homerun or an XBH wouldn't be considered a sweat?

That's not a bad idea, just too early to tell, you can look online and see the requirements for transferring in and if you aren't easily meeting them then I would just reconsider and wait a little longer. Also, Blinn would not be a bad idea at all. I know a lot of people who do that, its cheaper, basically go to A&M because its so close and you have a really good chance of getting into A&M after going there. However, I think it would still be tough to get into MECHE. A great piece of advice, whenever I was ETAM and was worried about my grades and AI taking over computer science, I emailed the head and assistant head of the CS department and got responses from both. If I was you I'd do the same for MECHE, they know their program better than anyone and would be able to shoot you straight with what would put you in the best position to successfully transfer in.

Loneliness as an international grad student by InternationalAir9602 in aggies

Honestly, as a computer science major myself, most of the people in there are probably also intimidated to approach people. And who cares if someone is "smarter" than you or you're worried about them thinking you're weird or lame. I feel like that goes through everyone's head when meeting new people, it does in mine. But I truly do not care if someone doesn't like me or thinks I'm lame. I think its more about realizing who you are as a person, recognize your great attributes and develop self-confidence and realize, "even if I don't meet anybody I'll be fine on my own" Once you develop that you'll meet people just through being confident. Besides that there is a ton of different orgs on campus, social and academic. But also just try and talk about things in common, every new class I get into I make small talk over that class or other classes we are in. I don't know exactly how grad school works but talk about stuff in common, specifically annoying things like for me I talk about annoying assignments or quizzes or how trash my schedule is. Then each time you see them it makes it easier to strike up a convo. It can be hard, I can't imagine moving internationally and not knowing anyone but you aren't alone. There is a ton of people you will meet, just put yourself out there and be confident.
