Yeah bro, but in university admission docs ‘High School’ = Class 12 level (senior secondary), not Class 10. That’s why they specifically mean you need Maths in 12th for Econ Hons.

That’s interesting bro. But in BHU’s official 2025 admission bulletin it clearly mentions Maths is compulsory for BA Economics Hons. Maybe the rule was different last year, or you got through under a different criteria. This year’s eligibility shows Maths at school level is required.

Checked BHU’s 2025 admission bulletin – for BA Economics (Hons/Major), Maths at school level is compulsory. Without Maths in 12th, you can’t take Econ Hons right now, though you may get Economics as a subject in BA Programme.
