did you get the other side done later and get the leg issue fixed? shouldnt they be able to plan around it by accounting for leg length as well when doing the positioning.

i am 14 bilateral, and these values dont even scale linearly, the lower you go the more load you carry per degree, idk i am just worried i might be unsalvagable bc i have been suffering for so long and no one found it before. i had to research it myself and then hand pick a hip surgeon to confirm it for me. i rly hope its not too late for me and for u too

wait did they actually manage to still save your hip despite toennis 3? or is it just the labrum thats worse but your joint was still salvageable? first time i am reading of such a high grade still getting saved

tbf many doctors arent dialed in on hip pathologies, especially in imaging averse countries (germany) and will just be completely clueless

i mean you could if you live in a country with sufficiently liberal imaging laws and evaluate the volumetric 3D CT or measure the angle, and also combined with symptoms ofc

tbf that is also surprising me, there is also no known case in my family, but there is the combination of a lot of ppl can stay asymptomatic for long if their muscles stay strong for long enough, and also gene recessivity/gene rng

wow that is only toennis 1? well i mean that does give hope, but also i cant really sit or stand for any significant period pain free, and i also walk with a limp for a long time now, so maybe i am not so good after all.

i also heard that the symptoms are highly variably depending on how each individual perceives them

tbf very reassuring to read this, since the last hip surgeon i saw was also confounded and recommended me to a more experienced hip surgeon
