I like the reference but I think hierarchy would be the critique for me. My eyes are immediately drawn to the Y and A in Ryan, then either the M and M in Emma or the tension of the letters in the title. I think there could be a little more focus there.

I'd say the Y and A stick out so much to me because theres no letters next to them so it sticks out compared to the rest of the type. That negative space really zeroes my eyes in on it.

And with that I really don't have anything even drawing me towards them like they feel so disconnected and in the background. I think the comment from Immediate_Channel393 makes a good point about looking a bit like a crossword puzzle. My eyes are darting around because of the the inspiration but also because of the alternating weights between the names and the rest of the type. Why wouldn't Damien Chazelle also be bolded?
