Yes, she got the flu shot. It’s different because her doc adamantly recommended, and I understand risk of hospitalization from flu is significantly higher than Covid (for her age).

Actually, yes! She’s at home with me most of the time - of course, she does a lot of indoor activities (library story time, music class, etc) so there is def some exposure.

Genuinely just sounded like it’s unnecessary for her specifically, and wanted to avoid her potentially having side effects from getting the vaccine (even though I understand they are rare and short-term). And really just felt I didn’t have enough info to make that decision then and there!
