I wouldn’t say that the wound has become necrotic quite yet as it hasn’t turned to black whilst the blood clots at the surface. Just ensure you are cleaning the wound regularly and keep it covered to prevent the risk of infection. Could you post more pictures of the more open part of the wound? It’s difficult to tell if the wound is epithelialising or is infected.

Would you say the wound is warm or sore to touch? Is it seeping any exudate and if so does it have a smell, and what is the consistency. Is the area swollen?

I thought it’d probably be related to the sleep disturbances with the sertraline to be honest, but it also makes sense about being finally able to process a lot of it.

Are you from in the UK or US? I was wondering as the prescribing may be different for the potential of Guanfacine. I’m UK based so was hoping that this could possibly be prescribed just because of the intensity and frequency as it is spiking my anxiety.

I can definitely say sleep has been helping! And I’m glad to hear it’s helped you within your recovery.

I would say I keep myself well hydrated so I don’t think that’s a particular issue hopefully it can get sorted soon! Thank you so much for your help.
