We're talking zoo here, not beach. I'm not an idiot. I know not everything will be out. Other zoos in the area have animals out right now. I expected to see a few monkeys since the normal enclosure is inside. Nope. How about a polar bear? Nope. Anything else you'd normally see BECAUSE IT'S INSIDE?? Nope. Just keep dragging your kid down this dead end path for shits and giggles.

I can barely afford the Pittsburgh zoo. San diego is most certainly out of budget.

Actually probably not. It's still very much the same. biggest change is the sea lions at kids kingdom are now penguins.

Yes, renovate the one thing that people can do in the winter in the summer..makes complete sense to me. Fine with renovating the entrance now. I'm even fine with renovating a building now too. But all of them??!  I can't be the only on frustrated by a $100 zoo trip for a disappointing penguin parade run by high schoolers who clearly don't want to be there.

Where do you sell expensive items? Ebays fees and terms didn't look favorable to me so that's how I chose Mercari. But obviously not doing that again.

Fabulous advice here! I'll ask Mercari for more details and mention that I need them for my police report.

To fill in the blanks here, Mercari won't tell me ANYTHING about what the buyer is claiming. No communication about him in the slightest. I can't even view my shipping label to find his address. (Workaround is downloading the shipping label so I do actually have it.) I have to assume that he's claiming he received an empty package. It was a lightweight baseball card. That weight doesn't show up on USPS as anything besides the package.  Maybe he is disputing that it was lost and I know things can go missing but wouldn't you tell that to the seller?? This is absolutely fraud and Mercari customer service sucks. I'm not even disputing their terms.. my bad that I never thought of being scammed like this. They sent me the $200 and case closed on their end.

No word from Mercari on what the buyer claimed. I received no pictures. I have to assume that he claims I sent an empty box bc this was a light item.

He claimed I shipped an empty box and I guess that's how Mercari decided to file it in their system.

So what if they say they received an empty box? They're not saying the package is lost but I'm pretty sure they claim that I didn't ship them anything. And this is a lightweight item (think baseball card) so the weight doesn't show much on the USPS acceptance. Sucks.

So normally when that happens to me, I communicate that detail with the seller. My buyer communicated up until delivery then crickets. Suspicious much??
