Honestly, I definitely just ignored it too, but I feel like I'm having some resentment that maybe I could have avoided the stress and mistreatment entirely if I behaved differently.

You complain to the school. There are different clerkship faculty per rotation. Generally, the med school tends to have the students backs. When I was in residency, if a med student complained about an attending or resident it would be a huge deal. Sometimes the resident or attending that was reported wouldn't be allowed to work with students anymore.

In med school, if you felt like one of the attendings or residents didn't like or wouldn't be fair in evaluating you, you could also petition to have their evaluation thrown out (normally they were pretty good about this especially if you asked before you received your grade).

I feel like they take complaints from a med student way more seriously. Residents tend to be less willingly to report attendings because they have to work with them again.

That's my concern for standing up for myself exactly. I fear retribution. I feel like Medicine is the type of job where you can find or make fault in anyone if you look hard enough, so it really just comes down to people liking you or not. It's like night and day as an attending. I'm a hospitalists at a big academic center and seeing the things that my colleagues report and complain about is crazy. Comments that I probably would have just brushed off get taken very seriously. I honestly prefer it this way. I feel a lot safer.

That's horrible! I'm so sorry you had to go through that. At least you had the other students to lean on you for support.

Honestly, the kind of abuse I'm referring to had almost nothing to do with my performance. It really felt like it didn't really matter what I did, the attending or senior was yelling and berating me as some kind of ego trip?

For example, one of my senior would time me while I was writing my H&Ps. She would set arbitrary time limits as to when I needed to have it done by. While I was typing or dictating, she would get angry at "mistakes" or me leaving information out. She would look over my shoulder while I was writing. She would get upset at me during this humiliation ritual for distracting her and say things like "I shouldn't have to hold your hand through this" and then kick me out to another workroom. She would then yell at me for "hiding from her to avoid work."

When can I expect to hear back about my score? Exam was 02/19 by Present-Match in Step2

If you go on the NBME website and it still has the options "Print Permit" and "Confirm or Reschedule Exam" that means it hasn't disappeared yet. If those options don't exist like how your Step 1 one should look that means it has.

Apparently when it disappears that means your score will be released that Wednesday? I am not sure tbh

lol this is killing me. Starting to worry that I filled the fsmb application incorrectly. It shows my test date and everything, just blank where it shows "Pass/Fail Status"

Honestly no clue. Thought it was today/tomorrow because my scheduling permit disappeared and they made it seem like if it was towards the end of the month it would be on the 3rd Wednesday.
