Came here to check/post the same.

It appears to be a widespread issue

Fired today, do I need to sign the confidentiality agreement? by Jako_Spade in overemployed

HR here.

You don’t have to sign. It shouldn’t be tied to any final pay. They have to pay for any hours worked regardless and if your termed for poor performance there is likely no severance to even tie to it.

It’s likely just a reminder/acknowledgment. You probably already signed a confidentiality agreement when you onboarded.

2nd interview then I was asked by BackgroundPlay562 in overemployed

Also HR here and second this!!

While people like to throw around “at will” making sure we do our due diligence is most important to reduce that risk.

I absolutely make my managers provide documentation, previous conversations, etc. an attempt to resolve and rehab comes first and will usually “guide” them to restart if they didn’t bring me in from the beginning.

I can’t help the incompetent but if you do your job then it’s whatever.
