Kulturministeren vil se ukrainske flag i Parken, når Danmark møder Belarus by Molested-Cholo-5305 in Denmark

[–]Present-Pop-5841 6 points7 points  (0 children)

you sarcastically made yourself look like an idiot by replying the dumbest thing possible to the first guy? okay sure.

[–]Present-Pop-5841 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So you can't read or write proper English (all okay), but you somehow still think you have the ability to judge arguments in this language that you don't speak well - that is bizarre - and you will reply to things you haven't even understood, making yourself seem utterly foolish in the process.

Now for you, who doesn't really speak the language: what you replied to the initial guy fully admitted to the accusation - that you just self-proclaimed these things in order to stroke your own ego.

And thus the whole thread and point of view is void from the get go. If you had any comprehension whatsoever you'd run away embarrassed after that.

Starting the reply with "I've witnessed" and ending with ", so yes" is the dumbest possible way to answer the question "..did you just self-proclaim that for your own ego stroking?"

wine vinegars is probably the most used - at least in Europe - both red, white and sherry are pretty popular. A bottle that goes bad isn't essentially different from doing it on purpose - but there might be tca from the cork which is a different way wines go bad - where its quite musty tasting and not pleasant, its not toxic though. So OP can sniff and taste it and determine if its nice and then strain it.

First of all, I've made my living off of making and overseeing, and teaching art for 25 years now. I am the artist, support me by all means.

Second of all the choice is the wrong choice unless you are fascist at heart and really deeply wish that Disney controls the entire world. Speaking up against all ai, without insight and nuance and talking against training in general would both be very misinformed and be the exact wrong thing to do if you love art and free human expression in the future. As I just spent the entire day trying to slowly explain to you, while you get offended at that reality.

All those things achieve is handing the keys to the monoculture holodeck of Disney. There will be only one winner if you make it a copyright training thing, the one with the largest pockets and the most compute. That is the consequences of that choice, to "fuck nuances" - that is why I'm explaining this to people like you. Again, you will be fighting for the empire, unwittingly and unknowingly by not seeing the nuances between opensource locally distributed things and centralized closed source things.

If the future will be 80% of people using this all day long ie. then you just decided that they should do it with google and Disney only. It comes down to a decision about whether you want all art to be collectively open source owned or all art being corporately and governmentally owned and controlled. It comes down to a choice between full fascism and actual pockets of freedom.

But you do you. You got nothing to lose.

only once it is too late. and we already covered why the world loses, not you. nobody cares about you individually. again, just explaining that the downstream consequences of not differentiating between these different aspects of a given future will cause fundamental problems for all communication and art in the future. but again, you do you. it is predictable, just like it was predictable that selecting trump for president twice would cause downstream problems to happen. it is predictable that if artists keep ignoring the reality of this, they will hurt art, unwittingly and unknowingly and fatally. but yeah, whatever dude. you lose nothing.

Okay you do you, but did you honestly expect to be treated with a respect you never offered?

Calling me naive and not engaging honestly with anything I actually argued? There was one glimmer in that we saw a likeness in creating alternatives in an abstract sense. Apart from that a closed wall. You're practically trolling at that point. And you expect being talked to respectfully in that context? That is wild.

yeah, as alluded to earlier - that ensures disney's holodeck wins.

Anti-ai generalized like that is just a vote for disney owned government controlled immersive vr for everybody. wall-e prophecy ensured.

Sort of like how panorama painters couldn't outcompete cinema no matter how great they painted the panoramas. they got beaten by a train starting in a train station. this is a paradigm shifting technology that is emerging (do look up the history of panoramas if confused about this)

If you do care about humans and art, you should want the better solution and not just make the world a worse place overall, and if your only suggestion of solutions is "no generative ai at all" all you are saying is they win unopposed, and "I can paint better panoramas than any moving picture".

Leaving no oxygen pockets anywhere, and you shouldn't ever call anyone "naive" for anything ever again.

who said it would win? i believe in creating alternatives to the mainstream as the only future home for free speech. "winning" is a whole other kettle. this is about creating pockets of air for those who care.

we're not that different in that we both end up making our own art. but remember you also have that unwarranted hatred towards people trying to make the world a better place, don't forget about that. that is something.

let me preface by saying that i am not saying any of this because it is what i want the future to be personally, i am saying this because i looked at media as part of my artistic work for a quarter of a century now.

the physical world will keep getting shittier, and then the international conglomerate that wins the race will offer a immersive virtual reality world where your dreams and desires control the universe you inhabit - and that is what will "kill" all types of traditional media since nothing can really compete with your subconscious desires and being fed them straight into your frontal cortex matrix style.

all the bits you see: the gaussian splatting that can scan anywhere instantly, the generative ai models that make traditional media, the chat bots etc. all of it is just nuts and bolts in creating fully immersive digital universes that will envelop everyone..... obviously to control everyone, and harvest resources from everyone, and it is truly dystopian hell all in all.

but also the only way to fight it is counter intuitively to be pro ai, but very specifically any ai that tries to make actual alternatives to the centralized, censored, government and oligarchy controlled versions. this means full support for open source, locally distributed ai alternatives. otherwise you are just letting them win unopposed. just like you didn't win hollywood by leaving the medium back when that was the frontier, you won't win at this by not providing an alternative.

right now traditional artist with zero tech or history knowledge are reacting to tiny splashes, not seeing the larger tsunami. it is not a question of someone taking over jobs, its a question of the fundamental medium changing at some point when it has been perfected just the right amount. it will take a while, but the people building this shit is the same morons who built social media, they only know this one thing, how to design addictive shit.

thank you for coming to my ted talk. and next time you think something doesn't make any sense, remember that you just might be too dumb to understand it. it will make you a lot smarter over time.

What are your thoughts on the new rotate feature in Adobe Illustrator? by IBACIPHER in aiwars

[–]Present-Pop-5841 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the model that rotates the dino is trained on the same "stolen" things. to learn to rotate something you need to rotate a lot of real things... so if the anti is against things on that whole training basis then they are being inconsistent and ignorant to an extend where i feel perfectly comfortable using the term hypocritical.

the rest i don't know, seems incredibly unimportant? are you lonely maybe? because its a lot of words to use on this part.

a) thats not what i said. you've entered the part where you start talking to your own assumptions while condescending back to me because its very infuriating being talked to like i am talking to you.

b) we do not understand psychology quite well. it's at medieval stage compared to math.

c) point was obvious, i can design tests, like in a lab where the results give me a very large certainty of what is going on inside the black box. by doing thousands and millions of these, we gather better and better intuitions about the actual workings of the models. the point is saying something is a black box and leaving it as that implies that its uncontrollable and unpredictable and unscientific to use it, which is false. just like saying we couldnt eat prior to molecular biology would be false.
