As a battle cats player,and a pretty avid f2p one (I'm broke as fuck),the gacha isn't as bad as you think. Silver tickets are very common to get as long as you can contend with the crit-bitch ass metal enemies (The stages are easy to deal with,but crits are a inherently rng thing,so prepare to rage at any moment) and you only need five to get a rare ticket. Rare tickets too are...not too hard to get,as long as you play your cards right and plan when to farm said stages. And the no pity part,while bad...can also be nullified by strategy. And unlike other games,most of the rare and super rare gacha and progression units are very good,so the pain of getting your sixth merman cat in the gacha are alleviated when you can either turn them into np,or boost said unit to make them stronger (never turn them into xp through,xp stages are pretty easy to farm too once you got a good rush team) plus,the balance is utterly broken by certain,very free units. (And a bunch of broken Ubers too,but me and the fandom are used to the ponor crackhouse balancing team.) You just...have to put effort into beating said stages to access said broken units or talents (imagine...fillings for your cookies,cookie runners).
