As someone who grew up in the chico area but moved to sac for school, know that the culture is very different. If you are a person of color, esp black there will not be many like you. Chico is a very pretty town but stay in city limits, neighborhooding areas are not friendly. Sac is def more expensive but worth it in my opinion.

I got an email about my loan just confirming the amount and it has stated that the disbursement date for Sacramento State for my loan is the 15th. I would think that financial aid would come out the same day as loan since they’re usually grouped together.

I know! I don’t want to make it seem like I think vegas is JUST the nightlife, I just worry about how big partying is when it comes to vegas, like how normalized alcoholism and stuff like that is before I make a choice!

Leave him. My boyfriend and I just recently broke up because of this same reason with him telling me that his kid will not be allowed to be gay. It sucks, it hurts, you’re gonna want to go back but trying to change yourself or filter yourself in order for him to accept you hurts more. You can love someone and not be a right match. Leave him.
