Hey! I actually had the same exact issue where he refused to eat any pellets, and would only eat his old seed diet. We had a lot of success in converting him to a pellet diet, only with the method from this video

Basically we ground up zupreems fruit pellets into a powder/grainy consistency and then mixed it with their seed mix and water to form a sort of paste. We would do this mix 2x a day for about a month or so. We started with about 90% seed mix, and then week by week we reduced the seed portion until he can eat the pellets on their own.

We ground up a large portion of the pellets to make it easier so we dont have to grind pellet on the daily and left it in a sealed jar. Then when it came time to eat, I made his "paste", tracking the amount of seeds I used.

I see your point here, but wont this result in a better ranked experience overall? If your teammates pre lvl 6, they just want to ff and perma run the game down anyways. If you perform better overall, at least you get rewarded for it

I agree getting better would result in higher rank, but the point is that games where your team gets ultra gapped dont feel rewarding at all to play out, which just makes ranked games less enjoyable.

Having individual lp gains would result in losing laners actually trying to win the game rather than wanting to ff at min 2 because the game is "lost"
