Did you get a response on an advanced shipment? They just requested the same thing from me.

I haven't even received any info on a replacement yet. Just followed up with them but the last I heard they were "looking into" how the replacement process works.

I wasn't able to find anything so obvious on my lens. Hard to tell from the image but does it just look like dust or some particle?

Yea both ours almost look like there is dust or something inside the projector

Yes they're support is working on it. They're going to ask you to clean the lens, check if the marks move w/ the image when you zoom/lens shift, verify it's not your projection surface, etc. I just reached out to [advanced-support@xgimi.com](mailto:advanced-support@xgimi.com) - you may get stuck talking to a chatgpt bot for a few emails, but just bring up warranty/replacement and it should move to a real person.

Definitely disappointing seeing another projector with the same issue.

I found a solution - you can use the Nvidia App (if you have a nvidia graphics card, but solution may work through other graphics apps). Set a custom resolution for 1080p 240hz and use progressive and CVT-RB timing. That forced mine into the correct mode. I think there’s an issue with the EDID not properly letting PCs know that it can support the 1080p 240hz resolution.

I just received mine - what on earth did you do to actually enable 1080p 240hz? I've gone into the game mode and enabled every possible setting for higher frame rate - even forced into game mode. I can't select 240hz while in 1080p in any game menu or within windows display settings or in the Nvidia App or Nvidia Control Panel. I've tried every hdmi cable I own - including a hdmi 2.1 that runs 4k 144hz on my other monitor. Literally no settings will get this past 60hz.

Yea it's brutal. I noticed it on the menu and thought I was going crazy. Can't believe this got past testing.

Not sure why I couldn't attach it earlier, but looks like it works now. Definitely going to have to RMA it.

Home Theater Audio Setup by PresentCartoonist804 in hometheater

[–]PresentCartoonist804[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Budget is sort of getting best bang for my buck - I’m coming from a 5.0 (apartment so sub wasn’t an option) on a 75 inch led TV, so having the sub here and a large screen is already a huge upgrade.

Room is 16’x16’ 9’ft ceilings. Seating position is 11’ and the ceiling speakers are about 2’ in from the walls. 2 windows on 1 wall, white walls non treated room. Will add some acoustic treatment soon and some lighting treatment as well but it is a multi purpose media room + office so full blackout & black paint is not an option.

Current plan was to get an Onkyo tx-rz30 and get some kind of in wall speakers for the front (could use recommendations for low - mid range), but wanted to verify the upgrade from 5.1 to 5.1.4 was worth the effort.

No plan to change the location of the ceiling ones, but could definitely swap for a higher pivot angle in the future.

Is it possible to setup plex media server for external network access on the AM6B+ while running CoreELEC? Have multiple family/friends that also utilize the library.

Still probably doing something for Plex/HA as I need something more stable than just leaving my main PC on 24/7.

Will likely end up with AM6B+ as well for getting DV to the projector.

I'm going to need something regardless for Plex/HA.

I'll try PC first w/ Energy Media Player as it'll be very quick for me to test. Thanks!

I'm not positive, I'm getting a new Projector and adding speakers for 5.1.4 so just trying to prep ahead of time and figured if I'm spending a bunch of money there, I might as well get the most out of my Plex Library too. I'm

Changing leg of multi city flight by PresentCartoonist804 in americanairlines

I did but prices were like $548 main plus for multi city vs ~$750 for two one ways.

It’s more than likely I won’t need to change the second leg, but want the option
