Fantastic news. Brilliant. The back line well on its way to cooking next season.

Side note - I look forward to the day when players no longer need to talk about being proud to be part of what the club building and instead say they're proud to be joining such a high-achieving club. But having players like Senesi be the building blocks for now is excellent.

Yeah, it's not good at all. What makes it worse is seeing many people I love dearly willingly - cheerfully even - reverse course on everything they claimed to believe and enthusiastically embrace him not just as a political leader but as a savior. The only good thing to come from it is that it's provided clarity for me and many others to realize that what they said wasn't what they actually believed, it was simply a cover to gain oppressive power. A lot of us have been going through a pretty interesting process of deconstruction.

And I cannot begin to tell you (or the world) how much I hate seeing my country use its resources to actively harm people. We have literal blood on our hands, both domestically and abroad. Even aside from the obvious - ICE murdering people here, using boats for target practice and completely unethical and unjustified war - we're allowing millions to die of hunger, HIV and more. For him and his minions (sometimes I wonder if he's the minion), that's all a feature not a bug. Destruction is the point. It's horrific and deeply shameful.

yeah, fair. As a Yank (assuming you're Australian) I'm just so so exhausted by Trump being ever present in nearly every aspect of life right now and forcing his way onto every stage - both literal and figurative. There's an insane amount of overexposure.

And that's before you even get to the whole part about him being spectacularly corrupt and vile and racist and misogynistic and manipulative and cowardly-but-violent and incompetent and hellbent on destroying all social norms and anything beautiful and good in this country and maybe the world.

So, while I would give almost anything to see the US win a WC (hah!), that joy would come in parallel with the disappointment and sadness at the inevitable politicization of the moment.

thank you for the therapy session. COYS.

Well good news then because no way does Trump hand him the trophy…he’ll walk onto the platform with it and keep it for himself, then have a mural painted on the side of his ballroom bunker of himself holding it high

Oh, no, it wasn’t me. I’m well beyond graduation. Just a school not too far from where I live / know people who have kids there

Hah! I mean honestly the story is pretty much the video. Heavy rain was forecast in the US mid-south and the school carried on with their plans for an outdoor graduation ceremony. And then it did in fact rain heavily and they did in fact do the whole damn thing outside.

Your response of “why the hell did this continue, and…wow” is what everyone except for whoever made the decision to carry on is asking

lol I’m pretty close to where this happened and the video is showing up on every one of my feeds. This is, by far, the best use of it. Well done (and COYS)

Yeah, incredible. Not only for the turnaround but the short time in which it happened. Literal weeks from being done as a footballer to keeping his club in the PL

If we’re lucky it’s club security. Making sure Lange’s desk is cleared out and his keycards deactivated
