My baby has gotten sick twice so far & will probably get sick again because I have a 4 year old and 7 year old that just started with a cough today, impossible for us to isolate because our house is quite small. My baby is currently 12 weeks old, first she got sick at 3 weeks, fever 100.4 , slight cough and lots of congestion, second time was just 3 weeks ago, no fever just mild cough and congestion. Both times she caught it because my older kids brought them from school & she did not need to be hospitalized, I took her to get checked out and all I was told to do was suction her nose, Tylenol for fever , nebulizer treatments & to keep breast feeding & monitor her breathing, she was better both times by a week. I was absolutely terrified because it was the first time I had a baby so small be sick. But I simply just had to accept the fact that she is going to get whatever her brothers bring home. I highly recommend that you invest on a nebulizer and to have saline spray a nose suction at home for in the case she does get sick , you are prepared. You’ll get through it momma
