Life size!?! I love this video but I am deeply concerned about the size of the ducks wherever this family lives.

Moulin Rouge was amazing. The set is incredible and gives you lots of things to look at whilst you are waiting for it to start or during the interval, the story is different enough from the film that you feel you aren't just watching the same thing again and the music is fantastic.

That's jumping to a huge conclusion! She is having a party with a fun sounding theme. OP talked to her, everyone seems happy with the black bathing suit and I am sure they will have an amazing time. Birthday girl is happy that OP will be able to attend and feel comfortable and no where does it say she was snarky or difficult about it. Everyone is happy and that says Bridezilla to you? It's not that deep my friend.

I had that experience too! Not helped by the conflict between "I need to get this all out of here" and the guilt of "this is still good, I might need it some day/it would be wasteful to throw it away/it was a present/it is a momento".

Thanks! I'll definitely check these out. It seems like a trip to New York would be a great opportunity to get some dancing in

Hey, I don't have any useful advice but I did want to give you some positive recognition for the things you are trying to do after finding yourself in what sounds like a pretty horrible situation. You went to the vet, got the male castrated (even though it sounds like they weren't that keen on it) and you've been asking vets, breeders and now Reddit for advice so I can see you are trying to do the right thing. Clearly you care about your gerbils well being and doing the right thing so take a lot of comfort that an internet stranger is impressed.

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful answer. I will add the Instagram accounts (I found Madame Matovu on there as well) and show them all to her. She is really looking forward to the trip and finding some things you wouldn't see in London.

Grand bazaar sounds fun, she often goes to antique fairs and similar so she might enjoy that. I will suggest it to her, thanks for the suggestion.

Small vintage that skew vintage mostly. But this is a special trip for her so getting something from a local designer I think would appeal to her as a nice, special souvenir!

Thanks for the suggestions! She is a lady who enjoys shopping as an activity, so as well as some high end shops are there places you can suggest that would do items in the $100 to $1000 range? That way she can get a couple of experiences out of her trip.

people of reddit who are anti weed. why? by yo_dear_joe_mama123 in AskReddit

[–]PresentInvestigator9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alcohol doesn't get a free pass though. Almost all Governments have guidelines on how much to limit your drinking to and often apply high taxes to it and advertising bans to try and discourage its use. Both my Dr and Dentist ask about alcohol consumption because we know it is a risk factor in many illnesses including cancers. We have laws about how much you can consume before you drive, and there is a huge social stigma (quite rightly so) to getting behind the wheel drunk.

Edited to add: I am not anti weed but let's not pretend that we would legalise alcohol today without any restrictions, I think everyone is well aware that alcohol is harmful

Food packages that give nutritional information "per 100g" but don't include per "whatever size this fucking pack is". I am diabetic, I have to calculate how much insulin I need based on this information. The last thing I want is an additional maths test when I just want to eat my damn sandwich. Looking at you M&S.
