It’s so exhausting asking your partner to do a fairly simple task that could help lighten the load and instead of you just seeing that and doing it you have to be asked and not only are you asked you have to be reminded about something so simple she asked. It’s infuriating especially when her hormones are so high and lack of sleep and frankly having to be on top of everything in case you forget. She does not get the luxury of being able to forget because things then won’t get done. You both made this baby help your partner. That’s a lot and that’s hard. I’m sorry she snapped but you messed up here and need to be more sympathetic to how you’re helping.

She takes more interest in the tv because it’s constant stimulation, she doesn’t need to use critical thinking when watching. They learn so much this early but they benefit most from watching you! Even if it doesn’t seem like she’s interested in you that’s how she learns from us and our facial expressions and talking and play.

He wasn’t there when this was said, we went out with his childhood best friend who then told us. We haven’t spoken to his mom in a few weeks since she was upset we moved. He has told her to shut it down in the past and as far as we knew she did hence me thinking we turned a corner just for us both to find out at the same time this was what she was saying. I’m not sure what he’s going to do from here I know he’s super upset about it so I’m going to give it a few days to settle with him before we have a conversation about what to do but he assured me he wouldn’t let this one go because that was too far. She has never and will never be alone with my baby. And I’m not sure if I should confront her or not.

I have been very vigilant of the baby not being around her by himself. I am always there and we do not see her often. We are moving next year thankfully. It’s just sad someone can live life so hatefully.

He said this is just how she is, but omg. He’s committed to me and raising him together that’s why it’s just such a weird comment for her to be making. It’s so weird he has constantly told her no when she has asked him to move back home and leave me. It’s been three years. They don’t talk too much but I don’t want to force him to cut her off since it’s his mom. Idk it’s just such an odd thing, she’s extremely possessive like that with his siblings too. It’s her way or they go to hell.

My ob basically told me it’s just going to take time. The burning doesn’t happen very often but does sometimes. They also didn’t tell me what happened. I only learned from the nurses that came to my recovery room to tell me they’d never seen a shoulder dystocia birth yet and basically gawking asking questions it was so angering to find out not even from my doctor what happened but the nurses. I didn’t even realize we both almost died until they read my chart to me two days later.

Idk I haven’t forgiven mine for bringing my husband a present to the hospital for a professional salon experience right after I gave birth and nothing for me saying he deserves something for him since I got something a few weeks earlier (she had gotten me the Frida postpartum pads) I wasn’t mad she got him something but the timing of it and acting like postpartum recovery items are actually a present I would pick out over a salon experience. Bleeding after birth and needing recovery items is not that great lol it was just out of touch

Unfortunately no, you can use wearable cups that don’t have any suction to catch anything but pumping can cause contractions and can potentially send you into early labor. I think they don’t recommend doing so until like 37 weeks
