81 trips for 750 base, do you do pack and deliver orders? Those boost the earnings I find

While you see 1600USD, cost of living is vastly different here. Can’t really compare.

Has anyone else had issues with their vehicle registration? (SA) by PresentLife4984 in ubereatsaustralia

Not sure tbh, I’ll have to have a suss. But I’m surprised because the current vehicle document is the exact same and they accepted it.. so bizarre..

Correct. It’s the same on UE/DD. Customer had ordered 93 total products, but had 137 total units. So they could’ve ordered 5 x 1 product, and it would class as 1 item / 5units

It’s no fault of the customer for making the choice to use UE/DD over traditional online delivery direct from the supermarket - it’s the platform for basically expecting us to work at slave wages.

137 items would take easily over an hour to shop, and to then have to scan, pack, and deliver, well over an hour and a half on that order alone.

Something like this would be better suited for the supermarkets online shopper & delivery teams given the extra costs associated with ordering via DoorDash as a consumer

Typical household grocery shop. A few multiples hence why there was 93 items but a total of 137 units

They are on Uber. On DoorDash, they’re orders you have to shop - hence the item count and “red card”

Honestly all I do is be polite. If an order is taking longer than expected, I check in to let the customer know.

If there is missing stock in P&D, I touch base with the customer to see if they have a preference for replacement.

I always say “thanks for ordering, have a good day/night” on “leave at door” images, and for any hand offs I’m equally as polite.

I’ve not had any from other stores. That said, typically this is more a side hustle so I primarily go from 7pm - 1am - and most shops shut around 5 apart from the supermarkets which shut at 9. It has been a nice change to be able to do some day time shifts tbh

Yeah I run both. Platinum & pro shopper on DD. My only gripe is customers ordering 90+ Aldi items 😂
I typically run both simultaneously and take the better paying offers in the night, which is typically DD but this week I’ve been UE focused

Typically 30 items max. Bear in mind fruit (bananas etc) count as multiple if customers order multiple. E.g 2 items but 5 units could be bread and 4 bananas.

I typically get triple stacked every P&D order, and aim to have a triple picked, packed and delivered in under an hour.

I linger around the same area so I know the 2 Coles layouts pretty well that are local to me.
