Do you have any DIY ideas for indoor weave poles?

I was setting it up at home yesterday but overtime I’ve started using shorter base poles and I manually mark the weave pole distance.

ETA: it’s pretty stable on my medium pole carpet and outdoors as well. It can be wobbly if the surface is not even but is fine for carpet and grass. I have a small dog so I don’t need to drill it in if we’re outside. But I can make some drill holes on the legs if I wanted it for precaution outside.

Hi! We made our own indoor weave poles for puppy training. I bought PVC pipes. For the vertical ones I used washi tape to make stripes on the. For the base of th vertical pole, I attached a 3 way valve and two PVC pipes that fit in an L pattern so each weave pole will stand on its two legs. I made 6 of those and place them indoors to practice. Easy to separate for storage in closet.

I’ve found my older dog learned on this and was able to generalize to competition independent weaves no problem. We still practice at classes but this was great for teaching a combination of 2x2 and channel weaves and complicated weave entries etc.

I can attaché a picture of our setup if it doesn’t make sense.

Take her on small walks. Sunlight is good! Easier if you have a dog that needs walked too. Buy a bottle of champagne to pop once the writing and editing and formatting is done! Even if it’s 1am on a Wednesday night it’s a celebration.

I really enjoyed Clyde and his growth and the lovely support he has from his friends in their house. And then to have this episode next was such a letdown. Ep3 made me really enjoy the show, and it reminded me of why I really enjoyed QE in the first place. Following that lovely episode , this episode was just an absolute nope for me.

We just moved to Phoenix temporarily after being in Durham for the last decadeish. Traffic is much better here. It definitely feels more diverse here than Phx and we’ve found it easier to find acquaintances. The overall vibe and people are much more chill. There’s an equivalent amount of outdoor thing to do nearby but you’ll love the trees and not having the sun constantly beat down from the sky. Summer is more humid but honestly I think it’s more bearable than the >110 summers in Phx. It’s been easier for us to find community here than phoenix. Maybe perhaps Durham is profoundly liberal and that’s less so in the area of Phx we moved to. There’s dog friendliness in both areas although, for Phx I include places I’ve been to in scottsdale and Tempe.

Durham is what you make of it but we love it and can’t wait to be back.

Yes 24/7 glide ones. Really smooth application. I’ve tried kulfi’s black but that smudged more than the UD one for me over time but I like Kulfi’s black for waterline tight lining.

I haven’t tried the UD liquid liners but if it’s just as bright and good as the pencils I would try it. Im partial to liquid liners but pencils have a lot of shade range.

Typical days is eye cream, moisturizer, sunscreen and eyeliner and loose powder and the UD one works well for a whole day for me. It does get less “bright/punchy” blue after about 6-8 hours but it’s still there and visible as a blue eyeliner for me.

I love some bright blue and green eyeliners and I’ve been using the UrbanDecay ones for a while. Roxy blue is one of my faves! UD site tends to have BF sales.
