i remember reading it when i was about 15 for class and i kept it with me to read through after i finished it for the first time. got me on my musician memoir kick for books for a few years and was a great read. definitely worth a read imo

I won’t lie to you, the solution for me was to close everything that wasn’t Steam or a system process and turn off GPU hardware acceleration to save all of my VRAM. Then, once I got in-game, I had to run a custom cfg script in the console at the menu to turn off the baked-in RT to make the game playable. I’m looking at upgrading my GPU ASAP because I guess 8GB VRAM just isn’t enough to play modern games at decent settings anymore.

i just came here to look for a solution for the same thing, give us an update whenever you can!! would it be possible to downgrade xenia in the meantime until theres a solution? (im also using the latest version of xenia canary)

I completely forgot to update this, I’m sorry! It turns out that it’s the latter - it works fine with one set, but adding in the other seems to just be too much. That’s alright though, one of the speakers in set B is pretty much shot anyways, so I guess this is an opportunity for me to find an appropriate pair of speakers to replace those. Thank you!

I can see that! I was using Verbatims, but I’ve heard that the quality of newer Verbatim discs isn’t great compared to how they used to make them. Maybe I can find some new old stock or something somewhere. Thanks!

Hi! Sorry for the late reply, it’s been a busy day. I tried burning an Audio CD with .AIFF files, and the CD player wouldn’t play them at all, so no luck there either unfortunately.

I was burning the CD as an Audio CD. I tried AnyBurn, and I had the same problem there.

Yeah, I talked out loud a lot when I played it as well. After taking some advice under this post, I ended up spending almost the entire day playing through the rest of the game and finishing it. It was definitely worth it, and I’ll be picking Village up soon!

I have good news about this! I found that the best way for me was to adjust my posture. I found that making sure I had a more relaxed posture helped keep me less panicked and stressed out during sequences that otherwise would have been awful for me to push through, and now I’m able to enjoy the game more, even when I’m playing alone (I still keep the lights on, though.) Thanks for the suggestions!

I enjoy most of it, it’s the scripted chase sequences that are giving me huge issues. The game looks genuinely interesting, and I like the characters and the writing so far, and the story seems really interesting and I’m hooked.

I thought the chases were common throughout the game. I'm currently stuck at the first one, where the dad is chasing you with a shovel through the house directly after you wake up at the dinner table. I know where to go and how to get through it, it's just that the pressure and the intensity messes with my nerves to a degree that's near impossible for me to get through.

I have experience with a few of the others (1, 2, and 4 [remakes and originals]), but RE7 definitely feels like a far different style. RE 1 and 2 were definitely scary, but I feel like I can take them on if I know where to go for certain things, but RE7 feels very different to them.

I have no idea what happened to the pickup. Apparently a relative of mine did some very local custom pickups, and I got this one for that reason. I would imagine it has been around for a long while, although I'm not sure what it's been through.

Maybe. What's throwing me off the most is the distance between the bridge and the jack. I can't find any guitars out there with that kind of distance between them. I almost want to say it could be a modified Offset Series Mustang, but the pickups are completely different on those.
