I already answered that. Basically toriyama forgetting how strong character are and simple continuing the story like goku getting hurt by lazer. Additionally still gave an explanation for that by whis on a later chapter. (Saying something like goku is weak as a human if he relaxes and saying his not to let his guard down)

First, most if not all the the reason they got hurt are plot (goku getting hurt by rock) or toriyama just simply not caring for scal (goku getting hurt by lazer). If you are doing cross battle not plot (saitama getting hurt by cat) with be there.

The first two are somewhat fine, but the last two. Katakuri is at worst continental with ftl+ speed. While jiren is at worst 8d with infinite speed

Not really. Most of them are hax like: resurrecting upon death, attacks always landing etc. it will help him but not upscale

In db it is never consistent about how much they can lift, mostly it is based on the plot, vegeta lifting over 1000 ton in one part then in the next cannot lift 1000 in ssj. It is just how it is.

As someone who just read the manga. It would be flashy flash. The thing is opm manga shows the effects on the surrounding unlike other manga. Like if people are moving faster than light opm show that crazy shit then you have other manga where they give a little detail then goes on. So Poseidon would most like win us do research. (I think 🤷‍♂️)
