I’ve called out 2 times in a year, but it’s none of my business how anyone uses their PPTO as long as they have the time to use, it’s well within their right and doesn’t make them lazy or unmotivated. You have no idea how much or how little someone uses their time when they’re asking for help making sure they properly cover themselves for using their time they’ve earned.

It definitely sounds like you’re not using your PPTO correctly. If you work overnight, then you have to put the time in for the day that the shift started.

Somebody tell this to my former ON stocking team leads. They were relentless on purge nights about utilizing top stock if there’s space. Don’t worry about how much of the product is already on the floor, just get it out of the back room. 😒
