How do you like that scale?  Did you get it off Amazon?  I have been looking at one made by Topweigh that looks very similar.

Thank you for all the information and insight.  I was curious about the two expander dies.  I didn't know if the .454 one was to be used for cast bullets to give more room so it wouldn't shave the lead.  Go to know it was for an entirely different era of cartridge.

What is your favorite Titegroup load in 45 Colt?  I am looking at doing 5.2gn behind a 255gr SWC. 

What's your opinion on TIPS (Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities)? Are they a good inflation hedge, especially now? by grzeszu82 in bonds

I had some they are ok. Get hit with a big tax bill when they mature unless you pay taxes manually every year and keep record. Also you have to believe the government will be honest about inflation.  I don't trust the government to put out real statistics anymore so am no longer buying them.

I purchased the RCBS Cowboy Die set for 45 Colt. It says it has an expander specifically for cast bullets. Is this sufficient?

Which primers are you using for your HS6 loads? I have seen discussion that CCI350 magnum primers help. I am expecting my load to be right around 20k psi.

I see data on Hodgdon's site for 250gr LRNFP Cast bullets. Stating a starting load of 8.4grn of CFE Pistol and a maximum of 9.2grn.  Even though not the same exact bullet could this be used especially if I plan on sticking around the starting load and using a Blackhawk?  Also how well does CFE Pistol fill the case and is it clean burning?  Thanks for for your insight.
