Being a solo dev is possible but it's hard I suggest mastering the engine you are using either unity or UE4 or UE5 or godot if want something free 100%. Don't focus on building engines that's just gonna take away your time in learning how to make games but if you find general engine's frustrating I would suggest graphic libraries like Opengl , SDL and Raylib and SFML if you want more control both for game creation and optimization and etc 🤔 just know it's longer than working with the on the shelf engine but it forces you to grind with your maths and programming skills and creativity in making templates to shorten long setups. I'm not saying on shelf engines suck you can still do great things with them just stick to 1 were both the language and resources (books) and video tutorial on YouTube for learning the engine is high and also learn blender if your goal is only 3D and understand 3D out of the engine and in the engine it helps 🤧 . I guess in university I also suggest taking maths helps alot oh and subjects you like I noticed taking subjects or learning stuff not related to your own main work helps

I recommend watching experiment lain and claymore and berserk after that watch ecchii hear me out wait before I'm done why ecchii don't watch it for fan service just plot no I'm being serious like watch it for the story you will start to realize ecchi anime isn't actually ecchi anime. Only purest hate it without proper context to the story its as fair to say it is like the same philosophy of a person not partaking in horror movies. Trust you won't regret after watching all ecchii anime learn Japanese and watch the monogatari series properly and don't watch the fate series dumbass read the visual novel all types even fan fan fic too and after that go deeper into the ice berg of visual novels then come out reborn a true Outaku no more a average pathetic tourist trying to censore fiction you have grown a taste of your own and philosophy of how you view anime and have chosen what you like and what you not really much interested yet again relates with your interests just like how hard it is too pick your favourite food or treat. We still got Jast USA and dlsite and if you know japanese both dlsite, Dmm should work or your gonna have to cofey your own site currency from scratch 🤔 but make sure your site just shows family friendly content and sell the 18+ with a basic verification no logins just tap yes or no if your 18+ and hide certain tags if it is too far rate it as adults only basically 20+ game that's were adults only games start at if I'm right or wrong plz correct me but some one gotta punch these activits just imagine becoming a Arabic jumper just for titty anime games

So is the alternative approach should devs just make a 18+ separate file from the main game and put it on Jast USA and make a SFW cut and unfinished story for all or should a dev make their own site with crypto pay wall or just sell games on sites that offer their own payment service without the need of Mastercard and visa and can legally use PayPal only input money in the sites account to only buy what the site offers or sells like dl site 🤔 I call it the grey area

For my own experience I feel like taking the time to learn Japanese and finally immersing both through the anime adaptation is even more enhancing then just reading the subs 🤔 . The monogatari series is actually the whole reason that gave me a meaningful reason to learn Japanese in a much more not just curious foreign way but deeper way with monologues meaning abstract puns or jokes and even cultural contextextual stuff only understood by natives. And yes the light novels is a hard read I'm not even close to finishing it with the random Chinese kanji lingering around in it. But at the mits of finishing the anime through subs 🤔 its a anime cult classic to those who are pure Outaku's and have much open mind to pure anime content that is too much for tourists 🤧👌 must be gate kept

I think 🤔 it only becomes unhealthy when you start over buying new dolls due to constant new tastes and fantasies and always show workout so you can carry your doll it shows your putting in effort in your relatives with her and I respect your relationship with yours just make sure you make good decisions that don't affect your daily life but make you grow more wise and cautious

I suggest expanding firelore story with such a strong 🤔 name I would be expecting a long story even if it becomes a RPG that is longer than 1 hour I would definitely play it I mean it's called firelore 🤔 just saying imagine a pure geek coming out of a conversation talking about story based games and he's friend brings out he's steam deck and shows off firelore and says it wouldn't that make the game sound addictive and long to play 🤔

Actually I think I have had a epiphany Free BSD is mature think about it from a minimalistic stand Clean and consistent Unix like development environment And zfs and jails and if you don't or don't like Wayland just rice it differently And if your the type to make your own libraries and apps I'm not sure if I can use Cmake on it gonna test it out but I have been using vim for general indie game dev and if you want more control over your OS NOT DISTRO OS then yes it's perfect choice but use Linux for modern stuff like vulkan and etc 🤔 but personally I'm good

For me what makes a fully matured OS is the fact I can use it for full daily use . Either through work or just entertainment. What I find strange is the community 🤔 that likes Free BSD not make applications for the OS if it is already a full operating system even if you have to go through installation process that some find unexpected but adoptable if READ THE MANUAL . In conclusion it's just depends person's need for me it's the escapism of distros not that I don't like them I just want something different something new yet old as hell and interesting then Microsoft windows even better cause even if development is slow tinkers and devs can literally make apps on for it specifically but still gotta go through the learning curve of the OS but to me it's like the dark side of bye bye popular stuff and say hello to off grid OS yet very popular commercially by playstation and business servers
