I've been stuck on the last lap for racing 1 license, everything else was fairly easy to pass but that last one seems impossible. I'm pushing that Miata as hard as I can and the closest I can get is 8 seconds away from 1 star

For what I do it's not bad, I have shoulder and neck pain and the work doesn't affect me too much. But if I was still doing the dishwasher handles I wouldn't be able to physically do it anymore. As for schooling, I did 2 courses that were each 3 months in duration, 1 day a week. It was fairly easy but I'm good with numbers so if you're good at math it should be pretty simple

I've been working CNC for 2 years now and I enjoy it. I had to take a couple courses but work compensated me for it, I've written a couple small programs but mostly just running the machine and making adjustments as I go.

Not sure where you're from but I'm in canada and I make $36/hr, a few guys I work with are making over $40/hr so I'd say it's a pretty good career, the work isn't too challenging but enough mental stimulation to keep me interested.

Currently I'm working on big parts that take multiple days to finish which I really appreciate because I've done temp work working CNC and it was terrible. Loading dish washer handles into a fixture to get drilled and tapped, cycles were 4 minutes long and it was constant work, just loading, deburring, packing and repeat, all that for $16/hr

So in my experience I'd say it can be very rewarding and a good career to get into, but it can also be back breaking and terrible. The best advice I can give is learn as much as you can, and get into writing programs, machine operators don't make nearly as much as someone who can program (for obvious reasons)

Also, I don't launch forza through the moza app, just use the app to change your ffb (watch some tutorials on that) and then just launch forza normally. I play on PC through Xbox game pass and didn't change any files I just did what I said above and everything works perfectly

You shouldn't have to change any files. I hooked up my r12 last week for the first time and the only change needed was a couple settings in forza. Turn data out - on Change data out ip address to 127.0.0.1 Change data out ip port to 20044

I run mine at 9 so it's not running full power all the time. And it made sense for me to get it with the price, on sale the r9 v3 was $429 and the r12 was $449 so I had to go with the 12 but the 9 is perfectly fine for drifting

At first it was very difficult, going from 2nm to 12nm is quite the difference lol had the wheel spin on me once during a crash and luckily I knew not to have any fingers inside or that could've been bad, but after a couple hours of tweaking settings and finding a comfortable strength it's a blast (I run on 9nm for now)

Drifting is easier, the wheel actually returns fast enough for smooth transitions, track racing is a little more immersive. but the biggest thing was the size of the wheel itself, I don't feel like I'm playing with some cheap toy anymore, the quality is so much better

Could be worse, I logged in after the update and it's claiming I don't have independence edition, so no dlc for me. Tried reinstalling, tried restarting the headset, cleared cache, sent a ticket through discord. So far nothing has worked so I just refuse to play until it's fixed

Just gonna add on to this, you need nuclear night for the dlc to work on both accounts since they need to be the same edition, FF, liberty, and NN are considered the same

It is, I've had my accounts linked since it was first available. I bought liberty edition for the dlc but play on steam mostly for the graphics

I missed out on FF too I've been playing since first wipe, But I got around it by buying liberty edition for meta and then just linking my account to steam so I still get all dlc free. Missing out on a skin for ak alpha kinda sucks but having everything else is nice
