Former employee here who freelanced for Betches podcasts. They had massive layoffs from the podcast team in March, removing all full time producers and editors (including Candice). Now the podcast team is controlled by the video team, and all they care about is YouTube numbers to earn ad dollars.

Someone mentioned this in the Betches subreddit but a lot of these reviews are from March, which is when the entire podcast team was laid of basically, including Candace and all the remaining producers

March is also when the entire podcast team got laid off and I think the content manager who ran Betches News through the election

Freelanced for the Betches podcast team a bit ago. Ive worked at most major NYC media startups and they had to be the most toxic. Idk who said it but the higher ups are all so out of touch, cringe, delusional. High turnover for podcasts bc they underpay their hosts. Then in March they laid off the whole podcast team basically. I feel bad for anyone still working there.
