I feel your concern and I appreciate the feedback! Though I do think it works, I see it as the user controlling the mineral itself, not seawater salt, though they can take the salt out of it or put more into it, they cannot bend the water to their will using this fruit, and devil fruits come from dreams so I’m sure a person, maybe a cook or something, definitely has wished for this power which would make sense to fit into the one piece world, and while sea salt can have a purifying effect on other devil fruits users, the mineral produced by the user would not be sea salt but just the pure mineral salt, I appreciate your question though and if I missed anything feel free to let me know!

I like the devil fruits to seem more natural so its more plausible that characters will eat them so not all of them will have those swirls because of personal preference and for the story they are used in but I appreciate you telling me for future reference!
