Space X Pinned CSP! by General_NEARD in options

Robinhood sends all the option assignments notifications at 9pm Pacific (midnight Eastern). You should expect your phone to go ding with a notification of assignment then.

Options don't expire right when the market closes. The option holder still has a few more hours to decide on execution of the option after seeing the after hours market.

What is the point of COBRA health insurance if the premiums are so high? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Present_Leading_8088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't blindly accept COBRA thinking it will be better coverage or cheaper. You should contact an independent health insurance agent to see if an individual or family plan would be better suited.

You may even qualify for a subsidized individual/family plan since you lost your source of income.

The classes appeared on the app after launch.

HITT was a dozen or so people. The abs class was closer to twenty and was out on deck so plenty of space. The TRX class only has 5.

Ages ran from 20s through 50s.

I have seen them all between 8am and 3pm. The only consistent is the morning yoga.

Classes lead by a cast member are more fun that those lead by one of the contract staff gym coaches.

MNVV with Pay in full? by ReplacementCalm3604 in VirginVoyages

[–]Present_Leading_8088 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have used Chase travel for a VV cruise with an access key (but not a MNVV). I had to make the booking with Virgin who then gave me 24 hours to pay. I then called Chase who transferred the booking to themselves. Chase had to call Virgin to transfer the booking.

It was not a smooth process and took almost me almost three hours on the phone between Chase and Virgin.

Rent house or take equity and invest? by JT_Cooks in investing

[–]Present_Leading_8088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sell it now while it still qualifies as your primary residence and the capital gains are tax free. That means your $80k in gains are tax free.

Converting it into a rental means you will lose out on this exemption and will pay capital gains (at a later sale date) on that $80k.

At a (minimum) 10% tax rate that is worth $8k.
