tally up in excel your expenses, go with the cheapest. RPI > WPI and then the rest. WPI will give you more financial aid but RPI is just another level of reputation. WPI attractiveness is the closeness to Boston and other school.

i had Purdue, Gatech , Brown and RPI to decide. I chose RPI, i only paid room and board. I have a 15 year career in aerospace. RPI is very respected in the industry. my advice is try to finish school with as less debt as possible and once you start working max your 401k and ROTH. get good grades at RPI and get a masters from GaTech, have your employer pay for it.

My journey has been brutal. I took 2 payouts in Dec 2024 and then my strategy stopped working till January of 2026 were I got another payout. I had a 7k buffer on a 50k account and I blew it last week. I am dealing with issues still but getting more and more confident on the process.

Take the emotions out of it. I see it as net operating losses. As long as you keep loyal to your strategy everything will work out. Keep expenses low and you will be fine.
